Chief Joseph Jacquard Print Pendleton Beaver State Overcoat
"Designed early in the 1920's, the Chief Joseph design continues to be one of Pendleton's most popular blankets. It commerates the heroism of one of the Northwestls greatest Nez Perce warriors, Chief Joseph. His Nez Perce name was "Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kert," which means Thunder Rolling Down Hill.
The blanket exemplifies the courage, strength, bravery, and determination Chief Joseph had in protecting his people. The blanket commands respect and admiration for the Chief who led several hundred people of his tribe away from the U.S Cavalry."
